Usage Instruction :
Check the Tester
Turn on the switch, the light and sound are both on, the battery is sufficient.
One hand Touch the stainless plate (test end) on the back of the tester, another hand touch the banana plug . If the music stops, the tester is good and in properly working.
Testing a Product and detect the outlet or grounding point
Detection of the outlet (third hole)：Hold the tester, plug the cord banana plug into the outlet (third hole), turn the switch on. One hand touch the stainless metal plate under device. If the music stop and the light off, this outlet is a proper grounding hole.
Test the product continuity：Turn it on, place the tester on the product, make the banana plug touch the object to be detected. If the music stops and the light off, the products are working well.
Individual Cord Test：Turn the switch on, snap the tester cord banana end clip onto one end of grounding cord, contact another end to the tester metal plate. If the music stop and light off, the grounding cord is good.
Test a whole set of grounding products：Plug the tester cord and one end of the product grounding wire into the splitter, snap the other end of the wire onto the product, insert the splitter into the outlet grounding hole or outdoor grounding cord, turn the switch on, and place the tester on the product. If the music stops and the light off, the products are working properly and are ready to be used.
Tester precautions and battery replacement :
If the product is not effectively connected, the tester will keep playing music and light up.
When the sound fades or the LED light dims, meaning the power is insufficient. The battery should be replaced. Please turn off the switch to save the power if not in use.
Do not soak in water or heavy fall to avoid damaging the circuit.
Battery replacement method: Insert a small screwdriver or sharp object into the 4-corner tenon under the device. Gently pry open the upper cover to replace the battery, and then close it back afterward. <Note>: You must pry open all 4 sides before you can detach the upper case. Do not give too much force to avoid breaking the tenon and damage the circuit.
